12 Days of Society Papers Mini Advent by HauteKnitYarn

I really thought I had reached my limit of preordering yarn Advents, but then I saw a post this mini Advent, inspired by the Bridgerton series. I absolutely fell in love with the first season of this series, and if anything, I’m even more obsessed with each new season that’s released. I love historical fiction, especially British historical fiction, like Downton Abbey and Call the Midwife, so this series was right up my alley. And I listened to the entire book series on Audible. I’m actually in the midst of a prequel audiobook right now!

So when this mini Advent inspired by Bridgerton crossed my Instagram feed, I had to check it out. This Advent promised twelve 20g mini skeins in either Sock or DK weight, along with “some fun notions and accouterments” and a cellphone bag. I could find a project to use all 12 minis, without question!

For this one, I chose the Jimmy Sock, which is 75% Superwash Merino wool 25% Nylon, 4 ply  fingering weight. This one has shipped, but hasn’t arrived yet. The countdown isn’t set to start for more than a week, so there’s plenty of time.

I can’t wait to see this one! The Bridgerton theme brings so many lovely colors to my mind, so my hopes are very high. I’m already playing around with project ideas for a 12-day set of minis, but I want to see the colors before I make a decision.
